    • 300g self-rising flour

    • 1 tsp mustard powder

    • 80g of butter

    • 185g Stilton, crumbled into small pieces

    • 100g chopped dried cranberries

    • 1 large egg, beaten

    • 250ml milk

    • A pinch of finely chopped walnuts


    • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas mark 6.

    • Grease a 12-hole muffin pan or use muffin cases placed in the holes.

    To make this recipe even simpler, if possible, use white stilton and cheese with cranberries (instead of cheese and dried fruit separate). The flavor will be more subtle but extremely delicious all the same.
