Ingredients:

1½ cups of milk

1 packet instant mocha powder mix (sugar free if needed)

1 C. dark cocoa powder (I like Hershey’s)

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional, but makes it thicker)

1 C. sweetener

1 cup of ice cream

Directions:

Add everything to your blender and blend over high heat. Serve thick and chilled.

2. Chocolate Chai Latte

Chocolate Chai Latte

The chocolate chai latte is filled with traditional chai spices and chocolate. This instant blend creates truly warm comfort in a cup.

Ingredients:

¼ cup of water

1 bag of black tea

3 tablespoons of white sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, preferably Dutch

2 cups of milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

sweetened whipped cream

3 cinnamon sticks

Directions:

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the tea bag, cover and remove from the heat. Wait three to five minutes. Remove tea bag and stir in sugar and cocoa. Return to heat and boil. Properly mix vanilla, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into a mug and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon stick for decoration.

3. Chocolate Avocado Shake

Chocolate and avocado shake

This rich and healthy chocolate shake recipe is dairy-free and gets its creaminess from avocado instead of ice cream.

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

1 cup vanilla or almond milk

3 teaspoons brown sugar or maple syrup

2 tsp chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

6-8 ice cubes

Directions:

Put the avocado in a blender; add milk, cocoa, brown sugar (maple syrup or regular sugar will also work), melted chocolate and vanilla. Pulse and puree until smooth. Add ice and puree until thick and frosty.
