Pineapple and elderflower cake recipe

I have a weakness for pineapple cake. It was the most popular in the bakeries of Jabalpur: a
light eggless sponge cake with fresh cream and pineapple on top. I tried to make it at home but it’s not the same. So I made my own version, adding pineapple to the
cake and, as I have elderflower in my garden, I incorporated it here to give a summery floral note. This cake is so light and refreshing that you might find it serves far
fewer people than I say!

Recipe for upside-down cake with cherries, almonds and honey

Living in Kent, I’m very lucky to have an abundance of cherries in season and while I like to eat them as they are, they’re also great in baked goods. This very delicately flavored cake is a crowd pleaser. Not only is it easy to make, but it also tastes like long summer evenings. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream or serve with fresh cream.

Chilli Naan Pizza Recipe

chili naan pizza recipe

I love the texture of the naan dough and the cheesy topping of the pizza, so it only makes sense for me to feature this naan-pizza combo. Here I use my favorite cilantro chutney with the cheese, but feel free to add any toppings you like. You can bake the buns a few hours ahead and toast them with the cheese filling just before serving.

Curry Potato Puffs Recipe

You will find many variations of curry puffs from different parts of the world, but where I come from we call them vegetable patties. In this recipe, I use only potatoes, instead of a mixture of vegetables. The curry powder is the main flavor, pairing well with the coconut cream, while the puff pastry is the perfect medium for this delicious topping.
