Grind the slices of bread and mix with milk and elaichi powder to form a paste.
Make small balls with the dough and keep them aside. In a saucepan, take the sugar and water to make syrup.
In a kadhai, Heat ghee and fry the bread balls until golden brown.
Transfer them to the syrup and let them soak. Garnish with saffron and pistachio strands.
Chop the slices of bread and add them hot ghee in a kadhai. Roast until crispy and lightly browned.
Add sugar to taste and mix well. Add the milk then the water and stir. Sprinkle a few strands of saffron.
Break the bread slices further once they have soaked in all the milk.
Let the mixture thicken, then add the fried cashews, raisins and elaichi powder.
Cut the slices of bread into discs with a bowl.
Fry the discs in ghee until crispy and lightly browned and set aside.
In a saucepan, take the sugar and water to make syrup. Add the fennel seeds when it boils.
Once the syrup has the consistency of a string, it’s ready.
Using a ladle, pour the syrup over the fried bread. Garnish with pistachio slices.
This is probably the easiest breakfast recipe.
Whisk milk, eggs, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
Butter a frying pan and heat it. Now dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, letting it soak well on both sides, and transfer it to the hot skillet.
Cook both sides until golden brown. Serve hot with fruit, honey or maple syrup.
Mix eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and salt until smooth.
Arrange the slices of bread in a baking dish and add the raisins and cinnamon powder.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
Place the baking dish in a large roasting pan. Half fill the roasting pan with boiling water up the sides of the pan.
Bake in a preheated oven until set.
